2020 (Senior*): Led the Vulcans with 14 pitching appearances during the COVID-19 shortened season. Had seven starts, a 5-3 win-loss record and a team-best 2.98 ERA with five complete games and an opponent batting average of .253 ... Finished the short season on a roll, giving up just five total runs in her last 35.2 innings pitched, against conference powers Azusa Pacific, Biola and Concordia. Didn't give up an earned run during a 2-1 win over defending champ Concordia, spreading out six hits, fanning six and walking none. Gave up just one earned run in a hard-luck 2-1 (10 inning) loss to Biola. Fanned seven batters in just 3.2 innings of work during a win over Eastern New Mexico. Walked only one batter over her final 40 innings of the season. Gave up just one earned run in a seven-inning win over Azusa Pacific.
2019 (Junior): Pitched in 17 games, starting three, posting the team's best ERA at 1.89. Had a 6-5 record with two saves ... Picked up a win with three shutout innings and three strikeouts against Azusa Pacific. In the entire series against APU, Gonzales pitched seven innings and did not give up a run. Fanned four in four innings against Dominican. In two back-to-back games against Notre Dame de Namur, pitched nine total innings, allowed just two hits, no runs and fanning nine. In one of the those games, got the win with 4.2 innings of no-hit ball.
2018 (Sophomore):Â Led the Vulcans with 27 pitching appearances (15 starts), finishing with an 8-3 record and a 3.16 ERA. Had six complete games with a team-leading three saves ... Pitched 4.1 innings of shutout ball against Western Washington. Gave up only one run in seven innings against Cal State Monterey Bay, fanning a season-high five batters. Didn't give up an earned run in seven innings in her final outing at Chaminade. Tossed a seven inning shutout at Notre Dame de Namur, allowing five hits.
2017 (Freshman): Played in 28 games in the pitcher's circle and in the field ... Had a 9-7 record, with a 3.03 ERA in 14 starts as a pitcher (23 total appearances). Led the team with 10 complete games and 111 innings pitched. Hit .300 on the season (30 at bats) with five RBI ... Pitched 6.2 innings of relief in her collegiate debut, allowing no earned runs and picking up the win against Northwest Nazarene. Pitched 5.1 innings of scoreless relief against California Baptist. Gave up just three hits and a run in seven innings of work to get the win over Dominican. Threw a five-inning, three-hit shutout against Holy Names with six strikeouts. Had a season-high eight strikeouts versus BYU-Hawaii. At the plate, went 3-for-3 and scored three times against Cal State Dominguez Hills.
