Over the course of the next month+, we will take a look back at the top games of 2019-20--hereafter referred to as 20 for 2020. The top 20 was selected by an esteemed panel of experts, so don't @me if you disagree. :)

Checking in at No. 9 on the top 20 list....It had been a rough, tough-luck start for the 2019 Vulcan women's soccer team last Fall when they began their season on the road in northern California and Idaho. UH Hilo had lost in overtime to Cal State Monterey Bay (2-1), tied Cal State East Bay (0-0), and lost via a late goal to Northwest Nazarene (2-1). Playing their fourth match in eight days and last of the road trip, the Vulcans took on a solid Central Washington team on Sept. 14 in Nampa. After battling to a 1-1 halftme deadlock, the Vulcans exploded for three second half goals to pull away for a much-needed 4-2 victory over the Wildcats. It would turn out to be UHH's highest scoring output of the season, and was the most goals scored for a Vulcan team since 2012 (six scores vs. Chaminade).
